Corey Welch

Videographer / Editor

I've worked under strict deadlines, in tense environments, and captured things that happen only once... I have shot aboard aircraft, at the scene of breaking news events, for live televised programs, at weddings, funerals, and captured peoples words that describe the deepest of emotions, joyous and heartrending... As a videographer, you must remain focused on the task at hand while you experience these things first hand. The most important part of the job is conveying those experiences to the audience by collecting the most compelling sights and sounds.

Being a video editor means having the power to take raw video, and turn it into a meaningfull story. One thing that comes along with being an editor as well as a videographer, is that I am always thinking about how my footage will work into the edit... what shots will compliment the subject, and which sounds will drive the point home. Knowing the process allows me to refine how I shoot to best suit the final product.
